About the Artist
Born in 1983, Anasuya hails from the city of Warangal, Telangana. She is a self-taught artist inspired by Indian folk paintings. Her works centre mainly on Hindu mythology gods and goddesses, she has participated in several group shows in India, her paper works and canvas works combine acrylics and inks with primary colors. We can find Indian traditional and contemporary colors and drawings in her paintings.
