About the artist
Born in 1989. Samir’s work is about reminiscing the past, living in absence and trying to preserve time. The most striking feature of his work is the choice of material; he collects natural objects, like twigs, barks and thorns and implies them in his visual language. He feels that their organic nature holds an emotional connect with all living beings.
