Sanjay Soni was born (1971) in Delhi. Soni is a self-taught artist who through his paintings, landscapes his thoughts and portrays his emotions in the most profound way that they touch the core of one’s heart. He has an amazing ability to capture glimpses of India on canvas – his use of colours is pleasing. His inspiration is firmly rooted in his Indian heritage. He has made some creative art series like; Khajuraho, Buddha, Rajasthan culture, mediation and monks, which were highly appreciated. The artist comments: “My paintings always have an element of hope and happiness. I try to share positive vibes through my themes. The real essence of life has peace, love and happiness as its basic ingredients. I try to capture all the three to inspire people and it feels great when people tell me that after a hectic day they sit in front of my paintings to restore their inner peace.” The artist lives and works in Delhi.
