Fawad Tamkanat

Fawad Tamkanath is a Hyderabadi artist who is considered one of the most exceptional Indian artists today. A gold medalist in both BFA at Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University and MFA at the University of Hyderabad, Fawad has kept reinventing himself as an artist. His work has been showcased, collected, and appreciated in the western world as much as in India. Fawad’s work has never remained the same. He openly shares that he may paint a specific theme for five years, but then he switches to another one. His canvas is realistic—as busy and detailed as life itself. He has been a part of many group and solo shows. In 2015, he completed his 100th international show with the Miami Art Show.
